Caught suckling at the breasts of self pity,
Just like Walter Mitty.
Drinking deeply from that which never lights a soul a fire,
Comfortably wallowing in their darkest mire.
Forever swallowing the simple self deception of the victim,
Never to attain the full erection of their mind.
To form the milk of human kind,
Is a pain from which one should gain.
As the babes' lips surround the nipple,
Know that life has never been simple!
When blood mixes with tears,
It comprises the meat of the joys that you must find,
through the years.
